The work of Genoa artist Tommaso Panzeri is in particular harmony and synergy with the 18th C. structure of Casa Regis, where the 300 year old walls have irregularities, signs of passage and a palimpsest of traces and antique hues.
Casa Regis is happy to coordinate the installation of Panzeri's work where the work hangs, warps, and even falls in function of time and circumstantial events. Panzeri likes that sometimes the work is indistinguishable from the building, other times the swathes of color introduce a sense of embarking on a new era, a contemporary one. The work has a transition identity, as this exhibit marks the first actual exhibit held at Casa Regis and inaugurates its exhibition future.

"Quanto in realtà mi fido"
E' un percorso verso la consapevolezza fondamentale del "sè" (me, myself, and I). Tutto è perfetto sempre e comunque nell’Universo, ma non nell'ambito del "se", per definizione incerto e perennemente a contatto con l'errore.Una linea che doveva uscire drittta, prende una piega inaspettata scadendo in una irregolarità della superficie di fondo; si apre una nuova prospettiva e il peRcorso prende un'altra via.Il colore (o il non colore) si addensa in una piega della carta e si cambia nuovamente direzione.Il pigmento secca e si stacca, aggiungendo tridimensionalità formale alla disaggregazione della materia pittorica e del gesto.Accettare il nuovo cammino significa annullarsi accogliere appieno il cambiamento, altre la materia, nello spazio metafisico in cui maturano l'opera d'arte e il suo autore.Il mio lavoro è costantemente in bilico fra percorso e discorso, al di là delle mie capacità ma, allo stesso tempo sempre molto mio, espressione del mio se inconscio, concreto e reale: un passare da un gesto all'altro in una armoniosa disarmonia di grafismo e colorismo, graffii e campiture, netto e sfumato.Geografie sottili portano a ricollocarsi (collocare di nuovo se stessi) nel piano dell'opera, in uno spazio topologico, famiglia di insiemi aperti (moltitudine di variabli che aprono attraverso gli errori) (errore, dal latino error -oris, der. errare ' vagare qua e là) in un viaggio lungo e tortuoso in vista di una meta lontana, oppure privo di meta, volo rasente fra le ombre delle superfici di fondo.

"How much I actually trust you"
It is a path to the fundamental awareness of "self" (me, myself, and I). Everything is always perfect in the Universe, but not in the context of "self", by definition uncertain and perpetually in contact with error.A line that had to go out straight, takes an unexpected turn falling into irregularity of the bottom surface; a new perspective opens and the path takes another way.The color (or non-color) thickens into a fold of the paper and changes direction again.The pigment dries and breaks off, adding three-dimensionality to the formal disaggregation of the pictorial matter and gesture.Accepting the new path means canceling oneself by fully accepting change, other matter, in the metaphysical space in which the work of art and its author mature.My work is constantly hovering between path and speech, beyond my abilities but, at the same time, always very mine, expression of my unconscious self, concrete and real: a move from one gesture to another in a harmonious disharmony of graphism and colorism, scratches and backgrounds, sharp and nuanced.Subtle geographies lead to repositioning (placing oneself again) in the plan of the work, in a topological space, family of open sets (a multitude of variables that open through errors) (error, from the Latin error -oris, der. errare ' wander here and there) in a long and winding journey in view of a distant destination, or without a destination, a flypast over the borders between the lights and shadows of the background surfaces.

L'opera dell'artista genovese Tommaso Panzeri è in particolare armonia e sinergia con la struttura settecentesca di Casa Regis, dove le mura presentano irregolarità, segni di passaggio e un palinsesto di tracce e tinte antiche.
Casa Regis è lieta di coordinare l'installazione dell'opera di Panzeri dove l'opera si pende, si deforma e persino cade in funzione del tempo e degli eventi circostanziali. A Panzeri piace che a volte l'opera sia indistinguibile dall'edificio, altre volte le fasce di colore introducono la sensazione di intraprendere una nuova era, quella contemporanea. Il lavoro ha un'identità di transizione, poiché questa mostra segna la prima mostra effettiva, dopo una chiusura lunga, che si tiene a Casa Regis e inaugura il suo futuro espositivo.
